Terms of Service
Last updated: April 21, 2026
These are the terms between Anby (the product and the team behind it, collectively 'Anby', 'we', 'us') and whoever is using the product ('you', 'your', 'your workspace'). They describe what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We've tried to keep them short and human-readable β but they're binding, so please read them.
1. Acceptance
By signing up for an Anby workspace, inviting users into one, or using any part of the Anby platform, you agree to these Terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company.
If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. What Anby provides
Anby is an AI-native operating platform. Today we ship three Core apps (OKR, AI Meeting, God Brain arriving next) along with platform primitives (auth, integrations, knowledge base, AI orchestration). More apps are on the roadmap.
We may add, remove, or change features over time. If we remove a feature you actively rely on, we'll give reasonable notice (normally at least 30 days) and, where feasible, migration guidance.
3. Your account and workspace
You're responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure (we recommend SSO or 2FA).
- The activity of everyone inside your workspace, including teammates you invite.
- Making sure you have the right to upload and process the content you put into Anby β especially meeting recordings that include third parties.
Notify us immediately at security@anby.io if you suspect unauthorized access to your workspace.
4. Free period and billing
From launch through April 30, 2026, every Anby workspace is free. Full features, no credit card, no trial-length trap. Official pricing starts May 1, 2026.
Starting May 1, each workspace selects a plan (Explore, Team, Growth, or Enterprise). Workspaces that don't pick a paid plan remain on the free Explore tier automatically β they don't lose access, they just sit on the Explore feature set and AC budget.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, in USD, via card or invoice (Enterprise). Unless otherwise noted, fees are non-refundable.
5. Anby Coin (AC)
AC is Anby's unit for premium AI usage. Each paid plan includes a monthly AC allocation. If you run out, you can top up on demand β AC purchased via top-up never expires.
- Plan-included AC resets at the start of each billing cycle and does not roll over.
- Top-up AC does not expire and is consumed after plan-included AC is used up.
- AC is not redeemable for cash and is non-transferable between workspaces.
- Published AC pricing for individual actions may change with 30 days' notice. Retroactive charges are never applied.
Basic actions inside Anby (viewing dashboards, manual edits, browsing past meetings) do not consume AC and never will.
6. Acceptable use
Please don't use Anby to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
- Generate or store content that is harmful, harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or designed to deceive.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without prior written permission (responsible disclosure to security@anby.io is welcome).
- Resell the service or expose Anby's AI features as a standalone API product to third parties without our written agreement.
- Bypass or abuse the AC accounting system.
We may suspend workspaces that violate these rules, with notice where possible.
7. Your content, your ownership
Content your team creates, uploads, or generates inside Anby β including content synthesized by AI on your behalf β belongs to your workspace. We make no ownership claim over it.
You grant Anby a limited license to process your content solely to provide and improve the service for your workspace, including running AI actions, creating backups, and delivering notifications. This license ends when you delete the content or close the workspace.
We do not train public or third-party AI models on your workspace content. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Anby's intellectual property
The Anby platform, its apps, UI, source code, documentation, and the Anby name and logo are owned by Anby (or licensed to us). These Terms don't grant you any rights to reuse them outside of normal product use.
Features you build on top of Anby using the full-code SDK belong to your workspace. You can export them and take them with you.
9. Third-party services and integrations
Anby integrates with third-party services (Google, Microsoft, Slack, Jira, Linear, Anthropic, OpenAI, and others). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, not ours. If a third-party provider changes their API or pricing in a way that forces us to change an integration, we'll give you as much notice as we can.
10. Warranties and disclaimers
We do our best to make Anby reliable and useful. That said, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will always be accurate. Treat AI outputs as drafts to verify β not as final decisions.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Anby's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid Anby in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US$100.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption β even if we've been advised such damages were possible.
12. Termination
You can cancel your workspace at any time from Settings. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access until the end of your paid period; we don't pro-rate refunds.
We may suspend or terminate workspaces that violate these Terms, fail to pay, or put the service or other customers at risk. Where possible we'll give notice and a chance to remedy.
On termination, we retain your data for 30 days (in case you come back) then permanently delete it, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes (pricing model, liability caps, billing changes) will be announced via in-app notification or email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Anby after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Anby is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will first be attempted in good faith between the parties; if unresolved, they shall be brought in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights you may have under your local law.
